GIVE ME SOME SUGAR: Crest’s Kiss Me in 3D

The 3D craze continues… Crest’s agency Digitas teamed up with Luxurious Animals to give consumers a, “customizable kissing experience.” At Kiss Me in 3D, users can either smooch the macho Fernando or sensual Olivia. According to Heath Rudduck, executive creative director at Digitas, “The whole concept of Whitestrips is to give people the confidence to smile. We’re looking to find a way to best demo the product attributes. It’s something you need to demo before you understand the benefit.”

Phelps Loses Contract Due to Bong Bust
After a recent photo of Michael Phelps and a bong emerged from the Internet Kellogg decided to terminate Phelps’ contract. Kellogg spokeswoman said, “Michael’s most recent behavior is not consistent with the image of Kellogg. His contract expires at the end of February and we have made a decision not to extend his contract.”
In other celebrity endorser news…. Ad Age reported today, 6 out of 10 TV spots in the Philippines have celebrity endorsers. (http://adage.com/globalnews/post?article_id=134299) Ninety-nine percent of those celebrities are movie stars. The following is a Nestle Nesvita spot featuring Marian Rivera.

And we won’t give up until we’ve stopped the ideacide. Our current fight is against the pharmaceutical ad firm AgencyRx. Help us end their crimes against conceptuality!”
